Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families through secure telecommunication channels. Perform comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health needs to formulate individualized treatment plans reflective of their unique circumstances. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the clinical profiles of clients. Maintain detailed and confidential client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards to ensure quality care and compliance. Engage in regular consultations with an interdisciplinary team to promote comprehensive and coordinated care. Exhibit reliability by meeting client appointments and adhering to scheduled deadlines. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at AK Therapy Services, you will work with a varied population, including adults, adolescents, couples, and families. Our clients often seek support for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and other mental health concerns. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Current licensure in Pennsylvania as a Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent). A minimum of 2 years' clinical experience in providing therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families. Ability to provide required clearances and successfully pass a criminal background check. Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients. Organizational skills that enhance time management and facilitate productive therapy sessions. Preferred Experience While we welcome a range of clinical backgrounds, preference will be given to candidates with experience in specific therapeutic modalities, such as trauma-informed care, behavioral therapies, or family systems therapy.
