Title Registered Dental Hygienist Job Description Perform advanced dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing (SRP). Take and accurately evaluate high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays). Conduct thorough oral cancer screenings and detailed periodontal charting. Educate patients extensively on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and post-treatment maintenance. Maintain complete and accurate patient dental records and charting. Strictly uphold all infection control and sterilization standards within the operatory. Collaborate closely with the periodontist and the entire clinical team to ensure seamless, quality patient care. Shift & Schedule Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Friday: Closed Requirements Basic life support Cardiopulmonary resuscitation Experienced Dental Hygienist (1+ years) Licensed dental hygienist Current and valid Georgia state Dental Hygiene license. Current CPR certification. Excellent, demonstrated communication and patient care skills. Proven ability to perform complex hygiene procedures such as scaling and root planing. A positive attitude and a strong commitment to being a supportive team player. Preferences Dentrix Eaglesoft Experienced Dental Hygienist (3+ years) Open Dental Previous experience working within a Periodontics specialty practice. Experience utilizing Curve dental software. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
