Dental Sterilization Technician

Position Overview We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our clinical team. This vital role supports patient care by ensuring all instruments and operatories are properly cleaned, disinfected, and prepared for procedures in a timely and consistent manner. Key Responsibilities Properly clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment Disinfect operatories between patients and set up for procedures Maintain organization of the sterilization area and back office Track and monitor inventory of sterile instruments and supplies Assist with room turnover and support clinical team as needed Follow all infection control protocols and OSHA standards Qualifications Prior dental or medical sterilization experience preferred, but not required (we will train the right candidate) Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn Must be able to stand, lift, and move throughout the day Competitive hourly pay based on experience Supportive and professional team environment Paid holidays and time off On-the-job training and opportunity for growth Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Dr. Prokopets Eugenia Prokopets, DDS, MSD, is a board-certified Periodontist and Dental Implant Specialist who uses minimally invasive periodontal and implant microsurgery techniques to improve patients' oral health. Dr. Prokopets completed a three-year residency and a Master’s degree in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at Louisiana State University. Dr. Prokopets received training in all aspects of implants including: esthetic implant surgery esthetic gum grafting microsurgery full mouth implant rehabilitation In addition, Dr. Prokopets’ training allows her to provide IV sedation for dental anxiety, and is one of the only Periodontists in the Washington DC area providing this service. She is also the only periodontist performing microsurgery using a highly specialized microscope in the states of Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC. #J-18808-Ljbffr
