The Group, a world leader in the luxury sector, operates in more than 45 countries with the PRADA, Miu Miu, Church's and Car Shoe brands, and has employees of over 100 nationalities.JOB SUMMARYThe Network and Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the network infrastructure for offices, stores, and warehouses/stockrooms. Moreover, an IT Infrastructure & Network Specialist is also responsible for supporting locally hosted servers and office network & server hardware.RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the design and implementation of new solutions and improve the resilience of the current environmentConfigure and install various network devices, servers, and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, quality of service) as well as servers and specialized Prada hardwareHelp maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects on network optimizationTroubleshooting and resolving network issues, including hardware and software problemsProvide remote support to on-site engineers and end users/customers during installation, maintenance, or disposalCollaborating with other IT professionals within the organization and with third-party partners to ensure problem resolution, project deployment, and infrastructure enhancementSupport various network projects as a member of the IT Infrastructure Service DeskSecure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring accessReport network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and managing projectsUndertake capacity management and audit of IP addressing and hosted devices within data centersOverseeing the daily operations of the IT department and ensuring that systems and networks are running smoothlyMonitoring raised IT Tickets and ensuring that SLA are being followedCompensation This position will pay an annualized salary of $85,000 - $100,000 and if applicable, may be eligible for bonuses and other incentive opportunities.
