Quality Specialist

Current Job Opening Quality Specialist The Quality Specialist is responsible for wide variety of administrative tasks in support of the Quality Department. Primary Duties Customer contract/purchase order review Shop traveler review and buy off Customer shipment certification package creation Customer Source Inspector Liaison Customer audit point of contact Internal AS9100 auditor Supplier/vendor quality maintenance Quality stamp control Job Requirements Must have an aerospace quality background and experience with AS9100. Must be competent in MS Office programs. Must be familiar with ERP systems. Must be able to create and maintain files in an environment where the retrievability of records is critical. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Fluency in Spanish is a plus. Must be capable of interacting with employees, managers and customers in a professional manner at all times. Preferred candidate will demonstrate a willingness for self-improvement via ongoing training. Must be able to lift items weighing as much as 20 pounds (infrequently as an administrative/office job may require). Must be able to conform to the companyandrsquo;s code of conduct, safety and attendance requirements. Preferred hours are M-F 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. Salary range for this position is $20.00-$28.00/hour Must wear Personal Protective Equipment where required at all times (i.e., steel toed shoes, safety glasses and hearing protection).
