Electrical Estimator

Overview Electrical Estimator – responsible for developing accurate, production‑level cost estimates for a wide range of electrical construction projects, including commercial, multi‑family, data center, and mission‑critical infrastructure. Responsibilities Prepare detailed electrical construction cost estimates for large capital projects. Review blueprints, project documents, and perform quantity takeoffs for branch circuits, lighting, devices, feeders, and low‑voltage systems. Use computerized estimating tools such as Accubid to generate accurate estimates. Identify, quantify, and price change‑order work in collaboration with design engineers, subcontractors, and project managers. Produce production‑level estimates for hyperscale data centers and other mission‑critical infrastructure projects. Collaborate closely with preconstruction and estimating teams to build competitive bids and profitable proposals. Maintain accurate record of estimate data and provide cost analysis for project proposals. Qualifications Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and estimating tools (Accubid preferred). Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills. Five or more years of experience on commercial construction projects. Proficiency in using computerized estimating software. In-depth understanding of electrical and low‑voltage systems. Ability to perform takeoffs for branch circuits, lighting, devices, feeders, and small systems. Benefits Competitive base salary based on experience.
