Proven ability to optimize inventory accuracy, reduce operational costs, and improve service levels while maintaining compliance with company standards.

JOBSUMMARY:

The Logistics Inventory Manager monitorsalloperations including butnot limited to; Process shipments, prepare paperwork,communicate freightstatusanddispatch driversforpickup.The supervisorwillbe the primary interface between Pilot Freight Services, customers, sales, systemoperationsand vendors and provide quality customer service, while meeting company policies and procedures. EssentialFunctions: Responsibleforongoingprocessanalysisofoperationalsystems,procedures,andstaffingtodrive continuous improvement in operating efficiencies. Assist District Manager with general tasks Cycle counting Excel a MUST Responsibleforensuringsafe operationsaswellascompliance withallOSHAregulations, all applicable laws, and Pilot’s Corporate Policies Effectivelytrain,supervise,coachandevaluatealldirectreportstofostergoodcommunicationsandmorale Reviewsoperationalkeyperformancemeasuresmonthlyaswellasbenchmarkingdatatodriveany required correctional or improvement strategies Communicatingfreightstatusandanyproblemstocustomers,vendorsandotherPilotstationsandpersonnel Freight handlingviaforklift Load/Off-loadbuildtrucksforoptimalrouting Otherdutiesasassigned
