Were seeking a Procurement Specialist to support high-impact procurement and supply chain initiatives within a medical device organization. Youll work directly with suppliers and cross-functional partners to source mechanical and electrical components, analyze competitive bids, negotiate commercial terms, mitigate supply risk, and develop second-source strategies.

• Lead multiple sourcing and supply chain projects, including supplier risk mitigation and resilience initiatives.
• Source and evaluate suppliers for mechanical and electrical components used in medical devices.
• Manage RFQs/RFPs and analyze supplier quotes, bids, pricing, lead times, and total-cost considerations.
• Lead supplier pricing discussions, negotiations, selection, and onboarding.
• Identify cost savings, tariff mitigation, and second-source opportunities .
• Partner with engineering, quality, regulatory, and supply chain teams to ensure suppliers meet technical and compliance requirements.
• Track project schedules, milestones, risks, sourcing decisions, and savings.
• Develop KPIs and data-driven reporting to support procurement decisions.
• Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership.

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Business , or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, engineering, or technical project management .
• Hands-on experience evaluating RFQs, RFPs, supplier quotations, or bids .
• Strong supplier-facing communication and negotiation skills .
• Ability to analyze sourcing and supplier data and translate findings into clear recommendations.
• Experience managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines independently.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and cross-functional communication skills.

• Medical device manufacturing or supply chain experience.
• Procurement or sourcing experience within another highly regulated manufacturing environment .
• Experience sourcing mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, or other engineered components.
• Experience with supplier risk mitigation, dual/second sourcing, cost reduction, or tariff mitigation.

• Youll have the opportunity to work on sourcing initiatives tied to medical technologies while gaining broad exposure across procurement, engineering, quality, regulatory, suppliers, and leadership . The work has a direct connection to cost, supplier resilience, continuity of supply, and successful project execution.

Work Environment

The role is based on-site at a facility in Scottsdale, Arizona. The position involves collaboration with engineering, quality, R&D, supply chain, IT, procurement, business teams, and suppliers. The team is provided with hardware and access to applicable systems, repositories, project documentation, and quality processes. There may be limited travel required with advance notice.

This is a Contract position based out of Scottsdale, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This position is anticipated to close on Oct 28, 2026.
