Overview
Registered Nurse – OB/GYN (Travel) opportunity in Hanford, California, United States. Start date: 08/03/2026 for a 13-week temporary assignment at a short-term acute care facility. Pay ranges from $2,269 to $2,305 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (3x12). This travel role is designed for an RN prepared to deliver coordinated OB/GYN nursing care in a busy inpatient setting.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for OB/GYN patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of different nursing staff levels; coordinate care with physicians and other disciplines using critical thinking and clinical judgment.
- Collect relevant data, analyze assessments, develop and implement a care plan, and monitor progress toward outcomes.
- Educate patients and families; provide treatment team with clear health information; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of the healthcare team; collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maintain a safe, healing environment.
- Be prepared to support recovery in Labor and Delivery and assist with cesarean-section scenarios as needed.

Requirements
- Licenses/ Certifications: Current RN licensure in the state of practice (California required). BLS/CPR from an approved vendor; ACLS (or ARC-ALS) and NRP (or ARC-NALS) certifications required. AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS and department-specific certifications as applicable.
- Education: BSN preferred.
- Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the field; acute care experience preferred; OB/GYN or Labor & Delivery experience advantageous.
- Other: Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care setting; availability for night-shift schedule and travel requirements.
