Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Work Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours per day Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians) Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines Understand and comply with the respective PT board’s rules and regulations and state regulations Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care Understand and use adaptive equipment Evaluate and create a plan of care Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient’s condition Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines Qualifications Minimum 6 months experience (new graduates encouraged to apply) BLS certification and state-specific licensing Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology Ability to stand, walk and lean or stoop for long periods of time Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment Job ID: 1408435 #J-18808-Ljbffr
