Vehicle DetailerResponsible for cleaning, reconditioning, and maintaining the appearance of vehicles both at the dealership and at our off-site detail facility. This role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both individually and as a team, in a fast-paced environment while delivering a high-quality finished product.Essential DutiesPerform interior and exterior detailing on new, used, and customer vehiclesWash, dry, wax, buff vehicle exteriorsVacuum, shampoo, and clean upholstery, carpets and wipe down all interior surfacesClean and polish windows, mirrors, wheels, and trimRemove stains, odors and minor cosmetic imperfections as necessaryInspect vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation.Use proper eye, hand and body protection when using cleaning products that require protection.Prepare vehicles for showroom display and customer deliveryMaintain lot presentation and vehicle cleanlinessAssist with quick turnarounds on sold units and customer vehiclesEnsure proper stickers are displayed on the vehicle.Maintain shop cleanliness, tools and equipmentSafely transport dealership and customer vehicles between dealership and detail shopFill vehicles up with gas, as neededCommunicate effectively with all team members and management to prioritize workflowOperates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.Help with winter lot cleanup/snow removal, as neededMaintains professional appearanceMaintains positive attitudeOther tasks as assigned.
