Maintenance TechMaintenance Tech Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Repair and maintenance of injection molding machineRepair and maintenance of dry offset printing machineOperation and maintenance of mechanical roomTroubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of HVACPaintingRepair and clean lightingRepair roofRepair and replacement of ceiling tile and gridInstall/repair guard railRepair overhead and fast-up doorsRepair Lexan windowsProvide general maintenance of building exteriorRepair parking lot lightingRepair indoor and outdoor signageRepair emergency lightingRepair and maintain exhaust fansPerform repair and modifications for facility electricalPerform maintenance and repair of pumps, motors, and piping for tower and chilled water systemOperate and maintain chiller systemPerform repair and maintenance of air compressorOperate and maintain air dryerPerform repair and maintenance of rail car loading equipmentSafely weld utilizing Mig Welding minimumLift, cut, and arrange steel materials per drawings or custom fabricationPerform basic drill press functions and accuratelyAny other duties assignedMaintenance Tech Requirements:Demonstrate knowledge of Building Electrical Branch DistributionDemonstrate knowledge of chilled water treatmentDemonstrate knowledge of low voltage control wiringDemonstrate knowledge of Electrical 480V 3-phase circuitsDemonstrate ability to use plasma cutting equipment or conventional gas torchesDemonstrate ability and have a basic knowledge of lathes and mill equipment with the aptitude to learn more complex machining skillsMust be able to pass a Post Offer Essential Functions Test (POET) to demonstrate the capability to safely perform the essential functions of the job, including heavy lifting, working at heights, and working in extreme temperaturesAbility to provide direction/leadership to department trainees and specialist positionsWork environment may include noise exposure, some outside weather conditions, and working at heights on some lift equipmentQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
