Banquet Server Position

Brooks' BBQ is hiring part-time and full-time banquet servers who are friendly, enthusiastic, and genuinely enjoy serving guests. Ideally, you are someone who shares the same passion for food and loves the idea of providing guests with a quality customer service experience. Previous experience in customer service or similar roles is always an advantage, although not required.

To excel in this role, you should be passionate about customer service and thrive in a fast-paced working environment. Being able to work irregular hours over the week, and over weekends and public holidays when needed is a requirement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for stocking ingredients from delivery area to work area, walk-in cooler, and storage.
• In charge of food preparation.
• Responsible to serve food and alcohol while also attending to the needs of banquet guests.
• Follow daily cleaning schedule.
• Work and communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
• Respond to questions, concerns, and complaints from customers, vendors, or clients.
• Escalate any problems or complaints to the relevant supervisor or manager.
• Prioritize important tasks and manage your time effectively.
• Man and operate equipment relative to your role.
• Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude.

• Physically fit and able to work on your feet for long periods.
• Ability to work irregular hours (day and night shifts).

• At least 18 years of age.
