RN II- Complex Care

Job Description The RN II is responsible for program development and management, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and administration of the program. Duties include running the program, submitting reports, directing staff, training, scheduling, and coordinating administrative and clinical activities. The RN II works collaboratively with leadership to develop policies and procedures consistent with program objectives. Essential Functions Responsible for the care of patients within a specific population, including phone triage, medication refills, and clinical care. Utilizes the nursing process as a basis for providing and evaluating nursing care; applies knowledge of growth and development, pathophysiology, and family dynamics. Develops and manages activities of division‑specific assigned program or specialty; makes decisions on specific clinical problems and performs in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Plans, develops, and implements goals and objectives of assigned program in conjunction with leadership. Evaluates program objectives continually and implements changes as needed. Plans and conducts meetings with staff to ensure compliance with established practices and informs associates of current standards. Creates and implements appropriate training and orientation programs. Compiles and maintains records, reports, and documentation of program activities for program evaluation. Documents all aspects of nursing care delivery appropriately. Provides leadership, staff education, and support to division nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals. Requirements Bachelor of Science in Nursing required or currently enrolled in BSN program with required completion within 12 months of hire date. Florida RN license or compact license including FL. Minimum 1 year of experience required, pediatric experience preferred. BLS Certification. CPN preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
