About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Sr Dir, Finance Technology to lead the technology strategy and organization that supports global finance. This senior leadership role is pivotal in the modernization and simplification of the finance technology ecosystem, including general ledger, accounting, treasury, tax, reinsurance, data, and enterprise risk and actuarial. The successful candidate will be accountable for both transformation and execution, driving the adoption of modern platforms, data capabilities, and AI-enabled experiences. They must have a proven track record in leading large-scale, multi-year transformations, deep finance and insurance business acumen, and the ability to influence and partner with executives on technology and business strategy. Key responsibilities for the role include serving as a strategic partner to the CFO community, challenging and influencing functional leaders, and ensuring that technology investments translate into measurable business outcomes. The role also requires a strong focus on talent, culture, and change leadership, with an emphasis on building a high-performing, inclusive organization that can thrive in sustained transformation. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical or business discipline, a minimum of 15 years of related experience, and a background in engineering, enterprise platforms, data, architecture, and AI. They should be adept at problem-solving, decision-making, and be effective communicators capable of engaging with all levels of the organization.
