Allied Technician - Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist (PT)This position involves working in a physical therapy environment with a focus on patient care for adult and geriatric populations. The role encompasses the assessment and treatment of patients while adhering to departmental policies and procedures.Essential ResponsibilitiesConduct objective assessments and develop individualized treatment programs for patients.Provide direct supervision to patients during therapy sessions.Supervise rehabilitation technicians and general oversight of physical therapy assistants in accordance with state practice acts.Ensure compliance with the hospital's mission, values, and service standards.QualificationsEducational Requirement: Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy, or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.Required Certifications: BLS - AHA only.Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a relevant field.Skills: Strong focus on patient care and the ability to work as part of a team.Work EnvironmentPatient Ratios: Adult and geriatric populations.Equipment: Utilizes standard physical therapy equipment and practices.EMR System: Experience with EPIC preferred.Dress CodeScrubs will be provided by the facility.
