MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Position Summary: Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Director, this position is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education: Graduate of an RN training Program. Preferred Education: Oncology experience preferred. Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications: Minimum one year recent experience in an acute care setting preferred. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Preferred Work Experience and Qualifications: N/A Required Licensure, Certification, Registration or Designation: Valid California State RN License Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) Los Angeles County Fire Card (required within 30 days of hire) Assault Response Competency (ARC) (required within 30 days of hire) Chemotherapy Certificate (must be obtained within 90 days of hire) Shift: Nights (12 hrs, 6:45 pm – 7:15 am), FTE: 0.9, Weekly/Bi‑Weekly Hours: 36 hrs/72 hrs, Status: Full Time #J-18808-Ljbffr Hollywood Presbyterian
