Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make an impact this summer by supporting students in specialized classroom environments across the Bath, Hornell, and Elmira areas. This contract position offers the rewarding opportunity to deliver hands-on care as an RN or LPN within summer programs serving PreK and multiple disabled students.

As a Program Nurse, you’ll work within engaging educational communities to ensure the well-being of each student by administering medication, performing nebulizer treatments, and managing tube feedings. Your expertise will be directly valued as you collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maintain a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications:

• Current, active NY State RN or LPN license required
• Previous school nursing, pediatric, or special education experience preferred
• Ability to provide medication administration, nebulizer treatments, and tube feeding support
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Adaptable to fast-paced, multi-classroom summer settings

Role Details and Schedule:

• Contract dates: July 6, 2026 – August 14, 2026
• Assignments available in Bath, Hornell, and Elmira for PreK and multiple disabled classrooms
• Summer program schedule and hours—no evenings or weekends
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic student care
• Seamlessly respond to health needs, emergencies, and daily wellness checks
