Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Minimum Qualifications Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program. Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Active California SLP license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred. Experience evaluating and treating dysphagia and neurogenic communication disorders preferred.

Preferred Qualifications Prior travel SLP experience preferred. Familiarity with common SNF documentation systems and Medicare/Medicaid documentation standards preferred.

Assignment Details Shift hours: 0800-1630. Work days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (per VMS work days). Guaranteed weekly hours: 36. Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
