This pivotal role is perfect for a dynamic professional who is passionate about coffee and seeks to contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional flavor experiences. This position involves on-site work and is not eligible for remote work. As a specialist in installing and servicing coffee equipment, you will play a key role in ensuring that our equipment is functioning perfectly, aligning with our commitment to quality and outstanding service.
Duties and Responsibilities- Perform installation of various coffee and espresso machines at client locations.
- Conduct routine maintenance and emergency repairs of coffee equipment to ensure minimal downtime.
- Provide training and support to clients on how to operate the coffee equipment effectively.
- Diagnose issues with coffee machinery and decide the best way to repair them in a timely manner.
- Manage inventory of parts and supplies needed for installation and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all installations and repairs meet the industry standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all installations, inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed, and report the same to management.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the service quality and efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and standards in coffee equipment.
- Proven experience as a coffee/equipment technician or related field preferred, but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems involved in coffee equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying conditions.
- Effective communication skills to adequately train and guide customers on equipment use.
- Professional certification in mechanical or electrical fields is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further technical education will be considered an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, as the role requires travel to client sites.
