Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Ultrasound Tech to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality imaging services to assist in patient diagnosis and care.

Responsibilities:

• Operate ultrasound equipment to capture detailed images of patients' internal structures.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining process and ensuring comfort.
• Maintain and calibrate ultrasound machines regularly to ensure optimal performance.
• Document procedures accurately and ensure images are correctly labeled and stored.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to analyze and interpret imaging results.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all clinical standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Hold at least 2 years of recent experience in ultrasound or sonography within the specialty.
• Possess ARDMS certification or equivalent credential.
• Be certified in BLS through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Demonstrate proficiency in using ultrasound and related clinical equipment.
• Exhibit excellent patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
