Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care - $1,869 per week

Job Overview Physical Therapist (PT) – Travel assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. 13‑week assignment, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour days. Travel staffing position. Job ID: #1405910. Responsibilities Evaluate and develop a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Create, modify, and execute plans of care based on patient condition. Supervise PTAs and therapy technicians. Bill appropriately within the facility following guidelines. Comply with the applicable Physical Therapy board rules and state regulations. Coordinate with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care. Understand and use adaptive equipment. Use the medical center's computer systems for daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and insurance guidelines. Qualifications Minimum 6 months of experience as a Physical Therapist; 1‑year experience preferred. New graduates encouraged to apply. BLS certification. State‑specific licensure as a Physical Therapist. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods.
