Position Summary: The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the business development and implementation of sales strategy in a specified region or geographical area. The RSM manages the regional sales pipeline with a focus on closing accounts with potential business of 50+ field employee placements. The RSM will partner with the assigned Regional Vice President (RVP) to execute their region's growth strategy. Location: Savannah, GA 31401 or Charleston, SC 29485 Job Type: Full-time
Primary Responsibilities:
- Generate sales, develop leads and business for assigned region
- Lead and manage BDMs in assigned region
- Achieve sales goals by managing regional new business pipeline and partnering with RVP
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop business with major accounts (50+ field employee placements)
- Use team selling methodology, qualify potential new business for the territory and negotiate pricing and payment terms based on corporate guidelines
- Establish in depth knowledge of market and economic changes
- Build relationships with internal and external customers
- Work with sales & marketing teams to implement marketing strategies for the territory
- Communicate with branch offices and work collaboratively within a team environment
- Lead and manage monthly regional pipeline calls to track results
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years previous business to business, staffing sales experience as an individual contributor
- HS Diploma/GED required, college degree is preferred
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to work in fast paced environment and juggle multiple demands
- Superior organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact face-to-face with customers during presentations and meetings.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel within the territory
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Background check eligibility
- Must be able to work in office Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
