Job Title Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical Location Americus, GA | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed acute care Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 RN/LPN patient ratio Monitor and interpret telemetry readings as part of routine patient assessment Care for patients with diagnoses including CHF, COPD, ESRD, pneumonia, renal failure, sickle cell crisis, orthopedic surgery, bariatric surgery, AMS, and sepsis Collaborate with in-house hospitalists (available 24/7) and respiratory therapy (available 24/7) to coordinate patient care Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR Participate in charge nurse responsibilities as needed and float occasionally to other units Required Qualifications Active RN license valid in the state of Georgia BLS certification required Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital Medical Surgical unit Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as required Must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible (distance measured from address on driver's license to facility) Preferred Experience / Skills ACLS certification preferred Experience with Meditech EMR Familiarity with telemetry monitoring in a Med Surg setting Why Join Us Supportive unit environment with nurse aides, an in-house hospitalist team available 24/7, and respiratory therapy around the clock Structured onboarding with a 3-shift floor-specific orientation to set you up for success Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 774911.
