Position Overview PrimeTier Home Loans is seeking a Bilingual Mortgage Loan Processor (Spanish/English) to join our team in Downtown Detroit, Michigan. This is a full-time, on-site position. Key Responsibilities Process residential mortgage loan applications and supporting documentation. Collect and review income, asset, employment, credit, property, and other required borrower documentation. Prepare complete and accurate loan files for underwriting. Track underwriting conditions and obtain outstanding documentation. Communicate with borrowers in both Spanish and English throughout the loan process. Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, real estate professionals, title/closing partners, and internal team members. Provide timely loan status updates to borrowers and transaction partners. Maintain accurate information and documentation within the loan origination system. Assist in moving files efficiently from application through approval and closing. Manage multiple active loan files while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. Qualifications Fluency in Spanish and English is required. Previous mortgage loan processing experience preferred. Knowledge of residential mortgage lending and the mortgage loan process. Familiarity with underwriting documentation and loan requirements. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple loan files and deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities. Comfortable using loan origination systems and standard office software. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or mortgage industry training is a plus.
