Job Description Job Description Dental Assistant / EFDA – Coraopolis, PA Progressive Dental Group is seeking a friendly, dependable Dental Assistant or Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our growing team! We are looking for a motivated team player who is passionate about providing excellent patient care in a positive, supportive environment. Schedule, Full Time Duties & Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures Take digital X-rays and maintain accurate patient records Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care Manage inventory and maintain a clean, organized clinical area Perform expanded functions (for EFDA candidates) as permitted by Pennsylvania regulations Provide exceptional patient care and support to the dental team Requirements Dental Assistant experience preferred EFDA certification is a plus but not required Current X-ray certification (or ability to obtain) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Pay & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Benefits Opportunities for growth and continued training Apply today!
