Ramp Service Agent

The Ramp Service Agent (RSA) works in a fast-paced environment performing below wing functions and keeping flights running smoothly and safely. This is a union represented position.

The job requires loading and offloading luggage and cargo with the use of conveyor belts or forklifts, transporting luggage and cargo to various airport locations, maintaining ramp and warehouse areas, and marshaling and pushing back aircraft.

Required experience, education, and skills include having a valid unexpired driver's license issued by a US state, a US territory or the District of Columbia, exceptional interpersonal skills, flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, holidays, ability to lift up to 75 lbs on a frequent basis, ability to obtain airport security clearance, ability to adapt to performing work according to set procedures, ability to anticipate needs of others in a fast-paced environment, ability to work at a constant and quick pace for extended periods outdoors in varying weather conditions, ability to learn quickly and understand and interpret flight schedules and airline flight destination information, good attendance and punctuality record, high school diploma or equivalent, minimum age of 18, and must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred knowledge of operations with industrial equipment and previous experience.

Starting rate is USD $20.58/Hr. There is a $1,000 new hire bonus. $500 after 60 days and another $500 after 6 months.
