Job Title

Travel RN – Emergency Department

Location

Kingwood, Texas

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Perform procedures including IV starts, blood draws, EKGs, and resuscitation
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, technicians, and unit secretaries on night shift
• Document patient assessments and care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Work 4 weekend shifts per month as part of the standard schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of acute Emergency Room experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR
• Active, personable demeanor with ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency department setting
