Title
EP Lab RN - Electrophysiology

Requirements
- License: NY license required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Electrophysiology
- EMR: Epic required
- Unit-specific skills:
- Phlebotomy and IV insertion skills
- Electrophysiology procedures: cardiac ablation, mapping, conduction studies, cardioversion
- Device work: pacemaker and AICD insertion/programming
- Procedural support: scrub procedures, Micropace monitoring, sheath removal, vascular closure systems
- Hemostasis and blood management: ACT, topical hemostasis products, blood product administration
- Critical meds/skills: IV vasopressors, emergency meds, thrombolytics, starting/maintaining IVs, phlebotomy
- Dysrhythmia identification/management and monitoring procedural sedation

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 40 hours
- Scrubs: Provided
- Pre-approved time off: One week allowed
- Return-to-office/time off restrictions: Do not allow more than 1 week RTO in a contract
- Background policy: Reviewed case-by-case
- Modules: Pre-start modules required, billable up to 5 hours; total may reach 10 hours
