Title: Purchasing Associate
Location: St. Paul, MN (100% Onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months
Shift Time: 9am to 5pm
Pay Range: $25/hr to $30/hr (On W2)

We are looking for a "Purchasing Associate" to join one of our Fortune 500 clients.

Job Summary:
This role will require perform inventory, purchasing and shipping/receiving activities for a R&D Product Development team working on software and computers. We are looking for inventory, purchasing and shipping assistance.

Top Skills:

• Knowledge of Purchasing and Inventory Management in a process oriented environment or business would translate to the activities needed for this this position.
• Expertise with Excel advanced skills like pivot tables, formulas, referencing, reporting is required.
• Ideally someone familiar with computers - workstations and servers and the components that go inside a computer.
• Familiarity with Barcode scanners and "Inventory Management software" would be helpful.
• Good writing and reporting skills & Organized and able to deliver on-time.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, perform and administer purchasing activities to assure that all assigned production parts and materials are delivered within required delivery, quality, compliance and pricing perimeters.
• Conduct and document procurement activities and negotiations to support prudent buying decisions.
• Maintain ongoing interface with various departments to assure that materials purchased meet requirements at the lowest practical cost.
• Monitor open order reports.
• Take appropriate corrective action on Monthly Reporting Factors.
• Take an active leadership role on assigned projects.
• Frequently required to develop Excel spreadsheets as a visual reporting mechanism to management.

Education:

• Associate or Bachelors degree preferred.
