PART-TIME PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO PRIVATE FAMILY – BIRMINGHAM
(Hybrid) 2-3 days per week, 8-12 hours-- $ 35-40.00 per hour
Job Summary
A private family is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and discreet Part-Time Personal Assistant to provide administrative, household, and personal support. This hybrid role combines remote administrative responsibilities with on-site assistance as needed. The ideal candidate is proactive, well-organized, and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Remote Support
· Manage calendars, appointments, and scheduling
· Handle emails, phone calls, and correspondence
· Organize and maintain digital and physical files
· Assist with bill payments, expense tracking, and record-keeping
· Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries
On-Site & Personal Support
· Run errands such as shopping, returns, and pickups
· Coordinate and communicate with household vendors and service providers
· Oversee household organization, supplies, and inventories
· Assist with planning and coordination of events or social engagements
· Provide general personal and household support as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar role
· Strong organizational and time-management skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
· High level of discretion, professionalism, and trustworthiness
· Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment
· Proficiency with email, calendars, and standard office software
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Experience supporting private families or high-net-worth households
· Valid driver’s license
· Flexible availability for occasional evenings or weekends
· Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
Work Arrangement
· Part-time position
· Hybrid schedule: combination of remote work and on-site support
· Hours and schedule to be determined based on family needs
· Location: Private residence and remote
Confidentiality
· This role requires strict confidentiality and respect for the family’s privacy at all times.
Salary $35-40.00 per hour, start 2 days per week, 4 hours per day. Option for 3rd day.
