Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, L&D to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive postpartum care and education to patients and families.
• Circulate and assist in cesarean sections, ensuring adherence to sterile protocols.
• Administer and manage medications, including magnesium sulfate and anticoagulation therapy.
• Monitor fetal heart rate and uterine contractions using EFM and IUPC.
• Support labor and delivery processes with amniocentesis, inductions, and high-risk delivery assistance.
• Maintain accurate and timely charting using the Epic system.

Qualifications

• Valid California RN license required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Current certifications in ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP.
• Experience with high-risk obstetrics and culturally diverse populations preferred.
• Proficiency in administering medications and conducting newborn assessments.
• Ability to float to different units within scope as needed.
