This position pays $17.50 per hour.
Candidates must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week including weekends and holidays. For those interested, there is the potential for this to become a permanent employment opportunity dependent on business needs and associate performance.
Job Overview:
Our Seasonal Retail Associates will be trained in all areas of the sales floor and will be responsible for providing an exceptional experience for our guests, whether in a character, character buddy, cashier, selling, or merchandising position. This customer-facing role requires positivity, product knowledge, and determination to create an unforgettable customer experience. We welcome unique personalities, just as our M&M brand is rooted in our unique characters!
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Must be excited to smile and work in a fun, fast-paced environment to make every interaction a positively unforgettable experience for our guests while driving daily sales and metrics.
- Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
- Must be 18 years old to apply
- No education or previous retail experience required
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers
- Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety, food handling, quality, loss prevention, and emergency procedures
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays
