Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive elementary school team serving students in grades K-5. This full-time, school-based opportunity is located in Bellwood School District 88 and offers a manageable caseload, collaborative environment, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student success. Full-time, onsite position Schedule: Monday–Friday Typical work hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM School year position Caseload & Responsibilities Manage a caseload of approximately 35 students Provide services to a small number of RTI/MTSS support students Address a variety of communication needs including: Expressive and receptive language Pragmatic language skills Articulation and phonological disorders Fluency disorders Support one Instructional Classroom (cross-categorical 3rd-grade classroom) Case manage approximately 5-10 students receiving Speech/Language-only services Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement Participate in IEP meetings and complete required documentation Qualifications Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License through IDFPR Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) through ISBE with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement Previous school-based experience strongly preferred Bilingual Spanish skills welcomed but not required Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Why Join Cross Country Education?
