Associate Litigation Attorney – Toxic Tort & Asbestos Defense

A nationally recognized litigation practice is seeking an Associate Litigation Attorney with experience in toxic tort and asbestos defense litigation to support a sophisticated defense practice handling complex toxic exposure matters throughout California.

 

Location:

• California (Hybrid, Remote, or Office-Based)

 

Compensation:

• $130,000–$200,000+, depending on experience and qualifications. Exceptional candidates may be considered above the published range.

 

Responsibilities:

• Manage toxic tort and asbestos litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, reports, and case evaluations.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Assist with mediation, arbitration, settlement conferences, and trial preparation.
• Manage deadlines, court appearances, and client reporting.

 

Requirements:

• Active California State Bar membership.
• 2+ years of litigation experience.
• Prior billable-hour experience.
• Toxic tort and/or asbestos litigation experience.
• Strong legal writing, organizational, and case-management skills.

 

Salary Range: $130,000–$200,000
