SEO Specialist

The SEO Specialist supports the execution and optimization of organic search programs across assigned client accounts. Through hands-on experience with keyword and competitive research, content optimization, technical SEO, performance analysis, and emerging search experiences, the Specialist develops the foundational skills needed to become a well-rounded search marketer. Working under the guidance of senior SEO team members, the Specialist is expected to build proficiency across SEO and GEO/AEO fundamentals, tools, and agency processes while consistently delivering accurate and high-quality work in a timely manner.

This role is ideal for a curious, analytical, and detail-oriented individual looking to build expertise in SEO and continuously learn as the search landscape evolves due to AI.

Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities

· Support the execution and optimization of SEO and GEO/AEO strategies across assigned client accounts

· Conduct research and analysis to help identify organic and AI search insights and opportunities

· Support performance measurement, reporting, and the development of client recommendations

· Maintain high standards of accuracy, quality, and timeliness across assigned work

· Continuously develop SEO expertise and stay current with evolving search behaviors, technologies, and industry best practices

Job Duties/Responsibilities

SEO Execution & Optimization

· Support the execution of SEO and GEO/AEO strategies and initiatives across assigned client accounts under the guidance of senior team members

· Conduct keyword, search behavior, search intent, competitive, and SERP research to identify optimization opportunities

· Support the development of SEO and GEO/AEO content and technical recommendations based on search landscape research, competitive insights, and SEO best practices

Analysis, Reporting, & Insights

· Monitor organic search performance and key metrics using approved analytics and SEO platforms

· Gather, organize, and analyze SEO data to support recurring reporting and ad hoc analyses

· Identify performance trends, changes, anomalies, and potential optimization opportunities and escalate findings to senior team members

Team Support & Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Support the development of client-facing presentations, reports, recommendations, and other SEO deliverables

· Participate in internal and client meetings, organizing meeting recaps and capturing action items

· Clearly communicate findings, recommendations, project updates, and potential issues to SEO team members

Operational Excellence & Quality

· Perform quality assurance to confirm SEO recommendations have been implemented accurately and identify potential issues requiring escalation

· Manage assigned tasks and deliverables against established timelines, priorities, and quality standards

· Maintain accurate project documentation, trackers, and internal and client status documents

· Follow established SEO processes, methodologies, templates, and quality assurance procedures

· Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accountability for the accuracy and quality of assigned work

Learning, Innovation & Industry Knowledge

· Develop proficiency in core SEO platforms and tools, including search engine webmaster tools, analytics platforms, keyword research tools, crawling technologies, and enterprise SEO platforms

· Stay informed about changes in search engine algorithms, SERP features, patient and HCP search behaviors, AI-powered search experiences, and emerging industry trends

· Apply learnings and feedback to continuously improve SEO knowledge, analytical capabilities, and quality of work

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree

Experience

0-1 years of relevant experience in SEO, digital media, or performance marketing. Agency experience preferred, but not required.

$60,000 to $80,000

Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom's corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
