Operations Supervisor - Topanga

Summary The Operations Supervisor supports day-to-day store operations and drives process improvements to protect product assets, optimize inventory flow, and enhance customer service. Reporting to the Store Manager, the role leads operational projects, delivers training, and implements brand and compliance guidelines across the store. The Supervisor collaborates with inventory control, CRM, merchandising and vendors to improve efficiency and commercial performance. Responsibilities Identify and implement operational efficiencies to protect product assets and reduce stock loss. Support the Store Manager in driving best practices, process improvements and operational projects end-to-end. Conduct trainings for new hires and follow-up trainings on the store operating system (Cegid). Manage stock management, replenishment processes, weekly cycle counts and yearly inventory coordination. Develop forecasting tools and deliver stock optimization analysis, reporting and forward planning. Own vendor/supplier relationships and identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve services. Manage facilities, health and safety compliance, and the recording of gifts to/from clients. Monitor P&L aspects to reduce costs and improve store efficiency and collaborate with merchandising to maximize replenishment potential. Requirements Minimum 5 years of retail experience, including at least 3 years managing people. Strong commercial acumen with experience driving operational improvements and meeting stock loss targets. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with store systems (Cegid preferred). Knowledge of U.S. retail laws, security, and health and safety legislation. Proven ability to lead teams, train staff, prioritize tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
