Laboratory - Laboratory Assistant

HISTOLOGY LAB ASSISTANT Shift: 5 x 8 Days M-F 10am-06:30pm ASAP Start: June 29th (preferred) or July 13th On Call/Weekend Requirement: Neither Float Requirement: None Local rate within 60 miles of facility Requirements: - 2 years of experience preferably in a hospital setting - must have experience as a LAB ASSISTANT; phlebotomists will not be accepted Case Assembly Slide delivery to Surgical Pathology and assigned Pathologist in Medent. Arranging, Filling of surgical blocks and time to time assisting with moving them to storage. Picking up Stats from Surgical Pathology upon request. 2 pickups a day from surgical pathology around 3pm and 6pm every day. Assisting and helping for changing tissue processors Changing H&E stainer. Help with arranging supplies and logging them in. And other duties as requested.
