Quality Inspector

Quality InspectorAs a Quality Inspector you will perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of wire & cable assemblies. You will inspect materials, parts and products at different stages of production.Responsibilities:Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materialsAccurately document the results of the inspections and testing by completing reports and logs; input data into quality database.Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.Coordinate calibration of all test equipment and fixturesMonitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration.Participate in the construction and/or revision of SOPs for the inspection function.Assist in the writing and updating inspection procedures, protocol and checklists.Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action to supervise.Qualifications:High School Degree or equivalent experience required2 years required, 3 years preferred of quality inspector experienceAbility to analyze informationAbility to report research resultsStrong documentation and organizational skillsStrong attention to detailStrong math skillsAbility to use measurement equipmentBasic computer skillsCompensation Details $17.22 - $20.66 Per HourThis amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements. For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
