Obstetrics Nurse Practitioner

Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)

Location: Oklahoma

Position Overview

24 hour in house coverage performing uncomplicated vaginal deliveries and related labor and delivery responsibilities.

Midwives triage patients, admit, deliver uncomplicated vaginal deliveries, and perform discharges on non cesarean section patients.

Physician is consulted on complicated patients and performs operative deliveries.

Schedule

24 hour shifts.

Typical volume: approximately 7 shifts per month.

12 week assignment (extendable).

Minimum of 24 hours between consecutive shifts.

Clinical Scope

Approximately 5 to 6 births per day.

Designated call room provided.

Required Qualifications

AMCB certification required.

Active Oklahoma RN license required.

Active Oklahoma DEA required.

ACLS, BLS, and NRP required.

OBDNN certification required.

Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
