Your Role and Responsibilities

• Conducting detailed patient evaluations, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, and developing custom care plans tailored to individual needs
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses alongside physicians or autonomously based on your credentials
• Providing essential education to patients and families regarding wellness, preventive care, and disease control

Qualifications and Experience

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Needed

• An active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent in your specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or capability to obtain within 90 days)
