Inpatient Surgical RN (Full-Time) (Days/Nights)

Role Overview The position involves providing direct patient care in a surgical unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within established standards. Key responsibilities include promoting patient and family-centered care, educating patients on managing their illness and medications, ensuring safety, and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. The role requires assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, and maintaining safety-sensitive standards. Qualifications & Skills Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred. Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license. Experience: No experience necessary; preferred experience includes less than 2 years and supervisory experience. Key Duties Deliver comprehensive nursing care aligned with standards. Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and medication administration. Participate in quality improvement, safety, and professional development activities.
