QUALITY TECHNICIAN

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for precision? We are looking for a skilled Quality Technician to join our manufacturing team. 

The core of the job includes:  

• High-Precision Dimensional Inspection and Proficiency with "old school" but high-end precision tools like micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and bore gauges.  
• Interpreting complex 2D and 3D technical drawings and applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing standards to ensure that parts fit together perfectly in final assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Inspection: Work from blueprints, specifications, and design drawings to verify manufactured parts and mechanisms against extremely tight tolerances.

• Incoming & Vendor Quality: Inspect incoming materials and vendor-supplied items to ensure they align with engineering drawings and company standards before they hit the production floor.

• In-Process & Final Validation: Collaborate closely with production teams to ensure parts fit perfectly during final assembly and maintain high standards for workmanship and appearance.

• Calibration Management: Support and maintain the calibration system, ensuring all measuring equipment is accurate, up-to-date, and on a proper cycle.

• Documentation: Prepare and maintain meticulous records, reports, and quality logs for all inspections.

• Safety & Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly work area and strictly adhere to all prescribed safety regulations.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
