Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer - Cybersecurity Project Lead to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in our Systems Engineering organization in San Diego, CA.In this role, success will come form being a self-starter with familiarity working in an Integrated Product Team construct and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment.Roles and Responsibilities will include:Provide execution leadership, tasking and direction to a team of Cybersecurity Engineers.Lead the development of Cybersecurity design solutions and artifacts.Coordinating reviews and approvals of Cybersecurity development and implementation plans, design guides, processes, and procedures.Develop Cybersecurity requirements and verification plansReview test procedures and analyze test results for compliance with Cybersecurity requirements and verification plans.Instruct, mentor and champion agile concepts and processesThis position requires full-time, on-site work at our facility. There is no remote / hybrid / telework available for this position. Travel up to 10% may be required.Basic QualificationsMust have a Bachelors of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) field and at least 12 years of relevant military / professional experience, OR a Master of Science Degree in a STEM field and at least 10 years of relevant military / professional experience, OR a PhD and at least 8 years of relevant military / professional experienceMust have experience supporting Systems Engineering Milestones SRR, PDR and CDR.Must have experience in full lifecycle of Systems Engineering, including requirements decomposition, test planning, requirements verification and requirements management.Must have an active US Government Top Secret clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.Must have experience leading an engineering team or project from concept to design to implementationMust have experience as Control Account Managers and baselining of contractsMust have experience with requirement decomposition and traceability from System to Unit/Supplier Specifications.Must have experience with implementation and deployment of capabilities and tracking of configurations.Preferred QualificationsActive US Government Top Secret SCI clearance (with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).Current applicable Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.Excellent communication skillsEngineering Management ExperienceAgile project management (manage & prioritize workflow)Familiarity with AGILE/SCRUM MasterFamiliarity with STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guides)Experience with multiple disciplines across Systems Engineering, incl. requirements, integration, technical configuration management (CM & Technical Baseline)Experience with Agile Design MethodologyExperience with Software Development.Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment software developmentPrimary Level Salary Range: $177,000.00 - $265,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
