Job Summary We seek a Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. Location 115 W Bond St, Astoria, OR 97103 Schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 am‑5:00 pm PST with lunch from 12:00 pm‑1:00 pm PST Pay Base pay range: $16.00/hr – $28.85/hr $3,000 SIGN‑ON BONUS for external applicants only Primary Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff. Receive, prepare and fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist. Order, receive and store incoming pharmacy supplies. Receive and process wholesaler medication orders. Verify medication stock and enter data in the computer to maintain inventory records. Work with the pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keep the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements. Perform various clerical duties relating to the department. Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills. Prepare orders for delivery via mail. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Oregon. Access to reliable transportation and valid U.S. driver’s license. Preferred Qualifications National Pharmacy Technician Certification. 1+ years of pharmacy technician experience. Long‑term care pharmacy experience. Retail pharmacy experience. Inventory management experience. PLEASE NOTE: The sign‑on bonus is only available to external candidates.
