HCA Healthcare has committed up to $300 million in programs to support our incredible team members over the course of three years.Job Summary and Qualifications \n \n \n \n \n The CertifiedWound Care OstomyRegistered Nurse performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act. \n \n What you will do in this role:\n \n \n \n Utilizes therapeutic communication in daily practice. \n \n \n \n \n Maintains a safe therapeutic environment.\n \n \n \n \n Identifiesnursing problems as they relate to the individual needs of the patient. \n \n \n \n \n This Registered Nurse plans individualized patient care whileutilizingan interdisciplinary approach. \n \n \n \n \n Participates in performance improvement activities. \n \n \n \n \n Provides care and coordinates participation that fosters the goals of the hospital’s mission and vision statement. \n \n \n \n \n Work collaboratively with the burn and wound team. \n \n \n \n \n Make staff assignments based on patient need,acuityand the skill of the staff. \n \n \n \n \n Serve as a role model and clinical resource for the team. \n \n \n \n \n Conduct comprehensive assessments on wound and ostomy patients. \n \n \n \n \n Respondin a timely mannertorequests forinformation or follow-up with physician,staffor patient issues. \n \n \n \n \n Participate in quality improvement practicesin order tomaintainthe highest level of patient care. \n \n \n \n \n Monitor patients during their inpatient stay and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions or emergencies. \n \n \n \n \n Document plan of care and patient progress in the EMR. \n \n \n \n \n Help to ensure safe and effectiveoperationthe inpatient wound care program. \n \n \n \n \n \n What qualifications you will need:\n \n \n \n Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within30 daysof employment start date\n \n \n \n \n Registered Nurse\n \n \n \n \n Wound Care Certified\n \n \n \n \n Associate Degree, orBachelorsDegree, or Registered Nurse Diploma\n Benefits \n TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
