Nurse Coordinator Bariatric - Main Campus

Coordinates clinical care of the bariatric surgery patient

Delivers education to internal and external customers

Performs daily administrative oversight of the program

Monitors quality outcomes and identifies areas for improvement

Actively pursues professional development opportunities

Additional Responsibilities

Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree of Science from accredited program (Required)

Work Experience: 2+ years Experience on a Medical/Surgical unit, ED or ICU (Required)

Licenses and Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License (Required Upon Hire) CBN (Required within 3 Years) and Advanced Clinical Nurse (Preferred within 2 Years)
