Lincoln Service Technician

Varsity Lincoln, Inc is seeking a skilled and dedicated Lincoln Service Technician to join our team in Novi, MI. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing Lincoln vehicles to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. If you have a passion for automotive technology and delivering top-quality service, we offer paid training to Ford Motor Company and we will consider the right individual for a trainee position if you have had previous years of working on vehicles. All technicians welcomed who have worked at other off brand services. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Lincoln vehicles Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues accurately using diagnostic equipment and software Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle concerns and required repairs Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards Keep accurate service records and documentation Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service completion Requirements Proven experience as an automotive service technician, preferably with Lincoln vehicles Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic tools Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver’s license and relevant certifications are a plus Michigan State Certified Willingness to work in Novi, MI location Benefits Competitive hourly wage of $30.00, paid weekly Opportunity to work in a reputable dealership with a supportive team Access to ongoing training and professional development Employee discounts on vehicle services and products About the Company Varsity Lincoln, Inc is a well-established automotive dealership committed to delivering exceptional service and quality vehicles to the Novi, MI community. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done. Benefits Health, Medical and Dental 401K Plan Paid time off and vacation Growth opportunities Employee vehicle purchase plans Family owned and operated Long term job security Flexible Work Schedule Responsibilities Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications Qualifications 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required Ford Certification Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred Previous experience working with luxury vehicles is preferred B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve Enjoy working in a dynamic environment Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications Valid driver's license and clean driving record We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr
