Medical Surgical Unit - Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse- $1500 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New Mexico license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience:
- In addition to meeting the unit experience requirements, your work experience needs to reflect at least 12 months (1 year) of uninterrupted experience working in the same unit/specialty you're applying to.

Special Requests:
- Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit.
- If multiple shifts are posted, only apply to your preferred shift.
- Block schedule may be accommodated, as long as it does not have to be the same days every week.

Unit Details:
- Uses Mindray telemetry system.
- General Med-Surg unit; very busy with quick turnover, discharges, and admissions.

Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend required.
- Call required.
- Flexible contract hours: 48 per week may be accommodated.
- 1 week max RTO approved.

Floating Requirements:
- Required to float as needed, but rarely. May occasionally float to ICU to take Med-Surg overflow or step-down patients.
