Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Expected 36 or 48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department environment, with a significant portion of patients being admitted holds
• Administer medications, including IV medications, following the seven medication rights; document and communicate clinical findings accurately
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:5 in the Emergency Department setting
• Float to Adult PCUs based on staffing needs; floating to Pediatric ED is optional; potential floating to ED Holding and Trauma based on experience
• Work weekends as scheduled; weekend nights are considered Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Participate in holiday coverage — must work 2 out of 3 holiday bundles (Thanksgiving & the day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, NYE & NYD)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (New Mexico license may be pending at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required; 1.5 years may be considered
• TNCC required prior to submission
• ACLS, BLS, PALS required ; NIH may be pending until compliance document due date
• RQI certifications are not accepted
• Must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred; candidates with 2+ years of Level I Trauma experience may be considered without travel experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level I Trauma center experience highly preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system
• Experience managing admitted/ED holding patients in a high-acuity environment
